The objective of this project was to transform a shell retail space into a dynamic optical store that reflects the brand’s youthful identity, while ensuring a smooth, engaging, and comfortable customer journey.

The main challenge was to translate the premium identity of Doctor M into a physical retail environment that balances aesthetic excellence and operational efficiency.

This required:

Delivering a luxurious yet practical retail layout that supports smooth customer flow

B. MEP Systems & Lighting

Lighting System

A carefully designed lighting setup was implemented to enhance the in-store experience, including:

Track lighting directed at display units
LED spotlights to highlight product details
Balanced illumination to ensure visual clarity without glare or reflections

Scope Clarification

While all lighting fixtures and MEP materials were supplied by Magrabi, our role focused on the installation and on-site execution. Our team successfully handled:

Full MEP installation in line with the provided specifications
Lighting installation and precise positioning to match the design intent
HVAC adjustments and modifications to ensure optimal integration with the space layout and ceiling design

Additionally, we carried out minor redesign adaptations to align the systems with site conditions, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic consistency within the store.
